I have a few really fun outfit posts in the queue, I've just been so busy with life in general that I haven't found the time to share them with you! I had trouble picking which one to post next so I enlisted boyfriend to choose and here it is. The jumpsuit!
OK, so I think we all know by now that I'm a bit of a bargain shopper. Don't get me wrong, I don't have trouble paying a higher price for a piece that I can justify, but for fast-fashion items that may only last a season or two, I'd prefer to purchase them on sale. This jumpsuit from Old Navy is amazing. It's light linen fabric and subtle stripe make it so easy to dress up or down. When I was trying it on before I purchased it, I actually tried it on with a white t-shirt underneath and *spoiler alert* it looked so cute. I paired it with my favourite block heels for the season from Joe Fresh (here they are, and only $49 at that!) and my well-loved denim jacket.
I know that slow fashion and investment pieces are a huge topic of conversation right now and I'm on-board, but there are instances where I just can't pass up a trendy piece at an affordable cost. I love culottes, so the wide leg had me sold. The modest neckline is also a treat, making this work appropriate when paired with a jacket or blazer. This particular jumpsuit isn't available online anymore but I've linked a few similar wide-leg jumpsuits here - all at different price points.

What are your fast-fashion favourites? Are you on board with the jumpsuit trend? I can't get enough! I find jumpsuits to be a flattering silhouette and such a versatile staple in any wardrobe. It's incredible what shoes and a jacket can do to elevate an outfit, or make it more work appropriate. Who doesn't love a piece that transitions from day to night so effortlessly?
