Happy fall, y'all! We have had a busy end of September and beginning of October, which means we missed out on apple picking! I was so disappointed since we've made it a tradition, but we still went to the orchard today to buy apples and have an apple cider donut...despite it being only 6 degrees. Needless to say we didn't last long because we thought our fingers were going to fall off! It was worth it for the crisp, cold Macintosh apples though. Ah, the things I plan to do with them (aside from eat them like candy!)
I've mentioned it before and this probably won't the last time, but I love fall. I don't think I could find one thing I hate about the season...unless you count the fact that the stores already have their Christmas decorations out!
Sometimes I've just gotta go back to my roots and get out the plaid flannel. This Old Navy boyfriend flannel is so cozy! I thoroughly enjoying layering and since this flannel is a little bit looser, it's perfect for just that! My collection of plaid patterns is large already, but there are a few more I'd like to add like this one, this one and this one (I love the lace detail on the pocket!)
There was a snow/rain mix on our way to the orchard which means winter will probably be here sooner rather than later so I have to get the most of out my vest while I still can. Shop my look below!
What I'm wearing: Flannel: Old Navy | Vest: Old Navy (similar here and here) | Denim: Gap (similar) | Hat: Joe Fresh | Boots: Hunter
See you back here soon!
